Fasting (Healing IV)

That´s not possible! Getting the sixth flu in the row! From November till March it felt I was constantly sick. Just when I felt the symptoms are leaving, was regaining strength, was looking forward to do sports again, bang! Another flu, with sore throat, voice loss, running nose and endless coughing.. Lord, for 5 months, seriously? It´s exhausting, You know, right? But I refused to slow down, I was travelling, I had meetings, I worked really hard.. I was determined not to give up on anything that I was meant to do!

But I got tired, overwhelmed, my joy faded more and more. What am I doing wrong, Lord? „Start fasting for 40 days” was the response I got. WHAT? I couldn´t believe it! Fasting, now? I am sick! I need a good diet, lot of vitamins, at least I could be spoiled with food... But I learned not to debate with the Lord when He says something. OK, I will obey. I will fast, but if I collapse or get worse, You will be responsible. So I started fasting, drinking just water and juice (to have my vitamins) and every other day eating fruits and vegetables, according to Daniel´s Fast. And do you know what happened? The first 3 days I was still sick… but from the fourth day on I was getting stronger and felt much better, no withdrawal symptoms from caffeine (what a miracle!), energy started filling me up again, was even able to do sports, hallelujah! Since then I am well! The power of sickness is finally broken!

HEALING POST SCRIPTUM

Dear reader, please, when you are praying for healing, don´t forget to ask Papa, what are you supposed to do. Ask Hims´: „What are You doing and saying right now?” He can use so many ways to heal you, just ask Him. Because all things are possible with God  (Mark 10:27). Whether it is the power of testimony to build up your faith or God´s Word which declares the Truth, or a simple prayer in authority. Sometimes it can be just simply staying in His Presence for a while, or fasting over a certain period of time, or trusting the methods of a conventional medicine. Please, never be too proud not to consider a classical medical treatment. God can use any doctor or nurse for His Purpose. As God´s family we should pray for more spirit-filled doctors, who will have the Wisdom and Knowledge from above. For His Glory! Because each healing brings Him glory!
